The global celebrity chose to candidly recall this experience in a new Prime Video documentary titled I Am: Céline Dion, which was directed by American Irene Taylor. The artist appeared on Instagram on January 30 to unveil the feature film, the release date of which is still pending.
“During this absence, I decided to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness about this little-known disease and to help those who share this diagnosis,” the artist said. This is what to anticipate from the documentary.

Since 2021, Irene Taylor and Celine Dion have worked “in close collaboration” on her documentary. “The video aims to immerse viewers “into Céline’s past and present” and her struggle with stiff person syndrome, a condition she disclosed she was dealing with in May of last year, according to our colleagues.
