Conan OBrien ”Late Night Show’

O’Brien’s off-center, self-effacing kind of humor, reminiscent of Letterman’s early days when he was establishing himself as a favorite of college students and the Generation X set, helped him secure renewals at 13-week intervals until he proved himself.

NBC offered O’Brien a lucrative five-year contract after he had been on the air for four years. Having started his TV production firm, Conaco, in 2001, O’Brien had a hand in making Late Night.

As host of Late Night, O’Brien was known for his innovative approach to comedy. After cracking a joke about an amorous manatee website in 2006, he unwittingly created a cult following.

When the Writers Guild of America went on strike two years later, Conan stepped in to fill the void with his series. O’Brien’s acts featured a fake argument with The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart and a zipline through the studio audience to his anchor desk.

Conan OBrien Museum

Boston has a wax museum. Dreamland Wax Museum is close to where Paul Revere’s business is located. More than 100 wax figures of celebrities, politicians, and symbols are along every metro line and tourist destination. In 2017, Arthur Fiedler’s descendants opened it.

Plan. Celebrity wax statues are tough to make. Even Madame Tussaud’s isn’t perfect. They give each wax figurine enough area for a photo. Wi-Fi and augmented reality improve your Dreamland visit.

Most figures include dioramas and picture props. An exhibit in Boston highlights local history from Native Americans to the American Revolution and beyond.
