The jury and audience of the 2023 Star Academy season had to choose between Pierre and Héléna to go with Julien in the championship match during this second semi-final.

Star Academy
It was “very close,” but the cards are stacked against you. On Saturday, December 27, Héléna and Pierre, the Star Academy candidates, faced off in the show’s second semi-final to earn a spot in the final with Julien.
Nikos Aliagas set the tone early in the evening by stating that the votes were extremely close. I wanted to let you know that we are in a fairly unprecedented scenario.
“Master, since the start of the week, there has been a fairly close competition between our final two finalists,” he said, ushering bailiff Gérard Simonin onto the platform.
He affirms, saying, “Yeah, that’s very tight. For that reason, I have come to reaffirm to you on an unusual basis that everything was indeed quite close, considering how similar our two pupils’ scores were.
Our two contenders were separated by less than one point the entire week. We will have realized that choosing between the two candidates did not appear to be simple.
We begin together, and we end together
Pierre kicked off the evening by performing a cover of David Hallyday’s song Sang pour Sang. Héléna then went on to perform a duet with Julien on Jean-Jacques Goldman’s J’irai ou tu iras. Later, the two engaged in a “vocal duel” on Johnny Hallyday’s J’irai ta tonne nom.
Héléna and Lara Fabian perform a duet on their hit song “I Still Believe” around 10 p.m. After the song, Lara Fabian exclaimed, “She was extraordinary.” She is a very talented artist. Pierre proceeded with a flawless guitar solo version of Ed Sheeran’s song “Perfect.”
A Night on My Shoulder
Subsequently, Gims assumed control of the stage and performed a medley featuring the two contenders. And that wasn’t the last highlight of the night since Woodkid and Pierre got together at 11:30 p.m. to sing their hit song Run Boy Run in a memorable performance.
Lastly, Pierre and Héléna sang “A Night on My Shoulder” by Véronique Sanson. The 21-year-old Belgian said of their team during their first prime, “We started together, we finish together.” A brief pause precedes the conclusion: Pierre wins this face-to-face and will compete against Julien in the final thanks to his faultless performance.
